Packed streets welcome return of St Patrick’s Day

OTHER counties will have been green with envy at Fermanagh last weekend, with the county leaving its neighbours in the dust with its St Patrick’s Day celebrations.

While there were celebrations right around the county, the main festivities were focused in Enniskillen and Belleek.

In Enniskillen thousands lined the streets for what has been hailed as the most successful St Patrick’s Day in the town ever. The small team of volunteers at Project St Patrick said they had been “completely overwhelmed by the support shown.”
