Future Construction Careers in Tyrone

A modern, environmentally responsible underground mine needs a diverse mix of people. It takes apprentices, skilled workers and graduates, from those who can learn on the job to those with a lifetime’s experience. At Dalradian we will need 350 colleagues over the 20-plus years of the Curraghinalt mine’s operations.

Our requirement for construction workers alone for the 18-24 month project will see an investment of £160million and create over 300 jobs, the roles are set out below.

Other careers will be available throughout the operation of the mine, including maintenance jobs, machine operators, surveyors and engineers. The project will leverage opportunities for Tyrone manufacturing industry.

The county already has an extensive engineering sector which supplies extraction equipment globally. Our project is a key complementary component of this growing sector.

The project’s planning application is currently being considered by the Department for Infrastructure. To register your interest in a future career and find out more visit: https://dalradian.com/future-career
