Early birds ‘camping out’ to snap up new homes

A HIGH demand for residential homes in Enniskillen is expected to be illustrated again this month as a number of three bed semi-detached homes go on the market.
This month the Herald revealed that Enniskillen is in line for a massive residential boost with over 500 new homes in the pipeline. To date a growing demand for property has encouraged strong residential development in the area.
Over 80 homes form the Lou gh View Meadows development off the Derrygonnelly Road, Enniskillen. These homes are close to completion with phase four of the development set to be released this month.
Phases 1 – 3 of the development were released earlier this year, selling out in record time.
Nick Finlay of Montgomery Finlay estate agents responsible for the selling of the homes said, “Interestingly we have seen some very brave buyers arrive at 7pm the night before the release day, set up with a deck chair and sleeping bag, just to ensure they get one of the properties.”
He added that enquires have been “very buoyant” for phase four of the development.
“To date 27 properties have been agreed in Phases 1, 2 and 3. Phase 4 will see the release of another four semi detached properties, priced between £154,950 and £159,950.
“The Lough View Meadows development has generated fantastic interest and traction since Phase 1 was released in March of this year. The development ticks all the boxes for potential home owners, with the combination of the excellent location on the outskirts of Enniskillen and the outstanding reputation of Newpark Homes in not only the quality of homes built, but the all-round finish of the development.”
Mr Finlay added that these homes are often ideal for first time buyers and young families.
Speaking about current demand for residential properties he said, “The demand for new homes is still very evident in the market and Lough View Meadows is a prime example of this encouraging demand.”
Bookings for the homes will take place at Montgomery Finlay & Co. Estate Agents on Saturday 30 November between 9am and 11am.
