Lisnaskea landmark on the market at £350,000

A LANDMARK building in the centre of Lisnaskea Main Street is up for sale.
The Donn Carragh Hotel, a well-established hotel premises in the centre of the busy town, is on the market for just £350,000.

Cllr McPhillips said, “The local area is so lucky to have the hotel. It is a shame that the current owners feel the need to put the business up for sale but it presents an excellent opportunity for someone looking to purchase it. The development and enhancement of the hotel would benefit Lisnaskea greatly. The hotel creates vital employment for many people in the area, and I really hope that the right purchaser comes forward.”
The extensive property comes complete with function suites which can accommodate up to 100 people and are suitable for a variety of uses to include meeting space and corporate events. A third function room can accommodate up to 300 people and is ideal for larger corporate events and weddings, among multiple other uses.
Offers for the hotel start at £350,000 and it is currently on the market with estate agents Lambert Smyth Hampton and O’Reilly Taylor and Tweedy.
Cllr McPhillips continued, “The hotel is about as long as I remember so it really is a landmark building in Lisnaskea. It is at the heart of the community. The town centre hotel is almost a thing of the past, so it is vitally important that we keep the Donn Carragh alive and thriving within the community.
“Anyone who is interested in purchasing the hotel would be getting a great business in the heart of a great community.”
