Two people taken to hospital after car crash on A4 Road

Two people have been taken to South West Acute Hospital after a car crash on the Main A4 Road.

The road is currently blocked by the collision which occured around 2pm at the Maguiresebridge turn off on the A4 Belfast Road.  Emergency services are at the scene, and diversions are in place, so motorists are advised to take an alternative route for now.

A spokesman for the NI Ambulance Service said, “The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 14.09 on Friday 26 July 2019 relating to an RTC at Belfast Road, Derrybeg, Enniskillen. NIAS despatched four Emergency crews, one Rapid Response Paramedic and one Officer to the scene. Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, two patients were transferred to the South West Acute Hospital.”
