BREAKING: Rangers back in Junior Cup Final

Enniskillen Rangers have sensationally been reinstated in the Irish Junior Cup following a ruling by the IFA Board on Wednesday evening.

The club have been notified that as Conor Sloan was not a registered player for Bessbrook in accordance with the IFA rules at the time of the semi-final he was ineligible for the fixture.

In accordance with Rule 4 of the Junior Cup rules, Bessbrook are removed from the Junior Cup and Enniskillen Rangers are reinstated.

Bessbrook have the right to appeal the decision and if they decide to avail of it the hearing will be on Wednesday 15th May.

However Enniskillen Rangers have been informed that they should prepare for a Junior Cup final against local rival Tummery Athletic in Windsor Park on Saturday 18th.

The Ball Range side, which clinched the Fermanagh & Western League title on Monday evening, will be looking to make it a Junior Cup three-in-a-row.
