New bishop makes key appointments

THE newly ordained Bishop of Clogher has announced new appointments in his diocese. Bishop Larry Duffy, who was consecrated bishop just two weeks ago has revealed he has appointed a number of priests in the diocese to be his vicars-general. 
These include Monsignor Joseph McGuinness, parish priest of Magheracloone and Monsignor Peter O’Reilly, parish priest of Enniskillen. 
Bishop Duffy also revealed he had also appointed a number of priests as Canons of the Cathedral Chapter of the diocese.These include Fr Patrick McEntee, parish priest of Dromore, Fr Michael Daly, parish priest of Donaghmoyne, Fr Patrick McGinn, administrator of Monaghan and Rackwallace, Fr Jimmy McPhillips, parish priest of Lisnaskea, Maguiresbridge and administrator of Newtownbutler and Fr Noel McGahan, parish priest of Clogher and Eskra. 
Bishop Duffy also confirmed that Monsignor McGuinness, administrator of Tyholland has become parish priest of  Carrickmacross and administrator of Magheracloone while Fr Patrick McGinn, administrator of Monaghan and Rackwallace is now also administrator of Tyholland
