Tears as man appears in court over Belcoo murder

A twenty-eight-year-old man has appeared in court charged with murdering Pauline Kilkenny, whose body was found in her rural home on Tuesday.
Joseph Dolan, with an address given as no fixed abide, Enniskillen, who is originally from County Cavan, is accused of committing the offence on a date between November 6 and 14.
A detective sergeant told Dungannon Magistrates Court the charge could be connected.
Members of the victim’s family who were seated in the public gallery accompanied by police liaison officers, broke down in tears as they listened to proceedings.
Dolan, who kept his head down throughout the 49 second hearing, spoke only to confirm he understood the charge.
There was no application for bail and District Judge John Meehan remanded Dolan in custody to appear by video-link at Enniskillen Magistrates Court on December 10.
It is understood Ms Kilkeeny (59) was subjected to a brutal attack, sustaining multiple stab wounds and blunt force head injuries.  She was found dead by her sister at her home in Cornacully Road between Belcoo and Garrison on Tuesday.
She had been reported missing by concerned work colleagues after failing to return from a few days off.
