The morning that I found you was not how I thought it would be,
If only I had a second, I’d have brought you back to me.
If I could again I would hold you tight,
And tap your wee fingers to sleep at night.
You always said you’d love just one day to live without CF and live in a normal way,
But we both knew that was not to be,
Even though we both wanted it, you and me.
You laughed and you cried through your pain,
I hope you’re living your life again,
Up in CF Heaven above, surrounded by all your CF friends with love.
You fought the battle, the whole way through,
A million gold medals have been awarded to you.
Sleep tight my Sam, you will always be, my beautiful Angel looking down on me.
I’ll love and miss you forever and that’s so true,
there will never be another like you. x

In the stillness of the morning the Angels took your hand and said join us in Heaven today.
