Derrygonnelly have been boosted by the news that midfielder Conall Jones has been cleared of the red card he picked up for a tackle on Peter Lynch during the Fermanagh county final last Sunday.

Martin Higgins flashed red after the tackle which came midway through the second half, but an appeal heard tonight cleared Jones and left him free to line out against reigning Ulster Champions Slaughtneil in Owenbeg this Sunday at 3.30pm in the Ulster club SFC preliminary round.

The news means that Martin Greene should have a full deck to select from as the Harps return to Ulster action for the first time since 2009 when they lost to Derry opposition, the Loup, at the quarter-final stages.
