Police investigate as ‘grave stone taken from grave and placed in a bin’

A memorial stone was taken from a graveyard at Cleenish Parish Church, and placed in a bin, police have said.

The incident is alleged to have happened at the end of June at the church.

Constable David Coalter said, “A memorial stone is believed to have been taken from a grave and placed in a bin at the graveyard sometime between Wednesday June 17 and Friday June 26. I would ask anyone with any information to contact officers in Enniskillen on 101 quoting reference number 882260615.”
