A tearful Denise Toner was welcomed home to her home club in Clones after claiming European gold in the Womens 800 metres in Poland.
A large crowd turned out at new Peace Link Centre in the town to greet the new European over 35s champion.
She produced her best indoor display of the season to burn off the opposition as she powered to the finish from early out.
