Police investigate ‘suspicious’ house fire

Police are appealing for witnesses following a house fire in Enniskillen.

The suspicious blaze at a derelict property on Sligo Road was reported to police at around 1.30am on Saturday August 9 however the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) believe the fire may have been started at around 11pm on Friday August 8 and smouldered for a time.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area between 11pm on Friday and 1am on Saturday and who may have noticed any suspicious activity. The number to call is 101.
