TWO cancer groups, the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice, and the Horizon West Children’s Hospice at Killadeas stand to benefit from next month’s Cycle Tour of Fermanagh.

Cyclists, leisure or competitive, have a choice of three routes, the 150km ‘sportive’ route and an option of a 60km or a 100km ‘leisure’ trip.

The tour starts and finishes in Lisnaskea on Sunday, 15th June. Cyclists can register online at –, or they can get a leaflet in any of the shops in Lisnaskea and fill in the reverse.

All cyclists are required to sign on, on the morning of the event at St Ronan’s Parish Centre from 8am. The centre is beside Monaghan Motors.

The cycle starting time is at 9.15am sharp.

The route will be marshalled by members of the Mad Dog Motor Cycle Club, food and water stops will be provided, and there will be a rapid response mechanical back-up.

The route takes in Enniskillen via Tamlaght, Derrygonnelly, Boho, Belcoo, Florencecourt, Kinawley and Derrylin before crossing the lough for Newtowbutler, Magheraveeley, Carnmore, the Knocks and back home.
