Plenty of time to get in training for Enniskillen 10k

THE ANNUAL Enniskillen 10K road race and leisure walk, organised by Fermanagh District Council and supported by the Enniskillen Rotary Club and the National Trust, will take place on Saturday 14 June.

As ever the race will start at 2pm at the Fermanagh Lakeland Forum.

The Enniskillen 10K road race and leisure walk is one of Fermanagh’s largest sporting events with a £1,500 prize fund.
People can register for the event from Wednesday 22 January by visiting the Enniskillen 10K website.

Speaking at the launch last Friday Chairman of Fermanagh District Council, Councillor Alex Baird, said: “The Enniskillen 10K is one of Fermanagh’s most successful mass participation events attracting people from near and far.

”With the New Year upon us it is a good time to start thinking about improving fitness levels.”

Enniskillen Parkrun, a weekly 5K running and walking event taking place every Saturday at 9.30am at the

Fermanagh Lakeland Forum, provides the opportunity to improve fitness levels and train for the Enniskillen 10K.
