Her sister, Nuala, said in a Facebook post that the 37-year-old had not been in contact since, however, said that she was believed to have been spotted by police in CCTV footage in Cornwall, on May 31 2013.

Nuala said on Facebook: “She is a talented musician, plays violin, guitar, whistles and keyboard. She loves to busk and play in churches. She is very religious. I would appreciate if you could post this in the hope that someone might have come across Nollaig on their travels.”

“Nollaig decided to go travelling last May. She has broken contact with all the family, and has made no contact this Christmas (for seven months now). This is very uncharacteristic for Nollaig,” she added.
