Two of Erne Wrestling’s senior wrestlers, Mel McTeggart and Mark Connor have been selected to be a part of the Northern Ireland squad travelling to Malta in November to train and compete with the Malta national team.
Juniors from the club were successful at the British Junior Championships held on October 26. Young wrestlers from England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland competed in Limavady.
Christy and Conal Sweeney, Colm Watton and Ryan McFarland all represented the club, bringing home two silver and a bronze medal. Christy and Ryan achieved silver, while Colm brought home bronze.
