Milk Cup: Third time lucky for duo

For Jamie Lee Fawcett it could be a case of third time lucky

It could be third time lucky for two of the Premier Milk Cup squad.

Midfielder cum defender Joe Williamson and striker Jamie Lee Fawcett are on their third time to play in the prestigious international youth competition.

Williamson’s no nonsense style of play will be instrumental in Fermanagh’s success. He knows what the Milk Cup is all about and enjoys every minute of it.

“We’ve played Otago before and we know we get something from that. We don’t know anything about the Mexicans except that they will be skillful and then Tyrone in the final game. That will be a real tough game but again we think we can get something out of that.”

Striker Jamie Lee Fawcett can score goals. He has already scored one in the tournament two years ago against Cruz Azul.

‘I’m really looking forward to it. I think we can get something from these games. It would be great to get a good start against the New Zealand team. We have a good squad this year and gell well together.”
