Club A. de Mexico 5

Fermanagh 1

IT’S BEEN TWO LOSSES out of two for Fermanagh premiers, with the side failing to overcome Club A. de Mexico at Rugby Avenue today (Tuesday).

Gareth McGuckin’s side were unlucky yesterday (Monday) against Otago – and this evening’s defeat leaves their points total at nil so far.

At half time, the side were two goals down in wet conditions.

And, just after the restart the Mexicans went three goals up. Soon after, defender Damhan Sanderson was harshly red-carded.

The ensuing penalty was converted.

A well-taken volley by McKenna pulled one back for the side, however, his goal was cancelled out by another Mexican penalty.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, it’s a local derby between Fermanagh and Tyrone.
