IN FOR THE TACKLE…Fermanagh premiers V Otago
THE TWO opening Milk Cup fixtures for Fermanagh ended in defeat today (Monday).
The junior side took on Japan FA at Anderson Park in Coleraine.
However, the Japanese came out on top, beating Andrew McCutcheon’s side.
Later that afternoon, Fermanagh’s premier side took on Otago at The Warren, Portstewart.
An equalising goal after half time from Ashley Hoey left the score at one apiece, however, two goals in the closing minutes signaled an opening day defeat for Gareth McGuckin’s team.
The juniors face Plymouth on Tuesday, while the premiers face Club A. de Mexico.
