Lough Erne Golf Resort has two new teaching professionals Mike Conybeare and Matt Jones.

Both Mike and Matt are originally based in the London area and recently graduated from the University of Birmingham in Applied Golf Management Studies.
Both will be based at the Academy for the summer months.

Director of Golf and Head Professional Lynn McCool is delighted with the two new additions to her team.

“I’m delighted to have both Matt and Mike join the team. They have the experience and the knowledge to deliver great programmes at the academy. Throughout the summer junior camps will run every week for all ages and lots of beginners classes as well as individual lessons . It’s going to be a fun summer at The Academy’.

Between studying, Mike gained coaching experience by learning from various top British coaches during his time working at Gleneagles Golf Resort in Scotland and Woburn Golf Club in Bedfordshire. At these placements, Mike was part of the Golf Services teams maintaining first class service and providing golf tuition.

Matt has worked at Burhill Golf Club in Surrey, and Muscat Hills Golf and Country Club in Muscat, Oman. His roles included giving golf lessons to all abilities of golfer, whether that was individual lessons or in group
