THE Tumbling Paddies have taken another major step in their impressive career by releasing their single ‘Take Me Home’ which has gone down a treat with their local fan bas and followers.
The six-man Fermanagh band, who have established themselves as one of the top groups on the island, confirmed that they’d been working on new music, ahead of their latest song release.
It has been a busy and action-packed time for The Tumbling Paddies who have been in the midst of a major UK and Scotland tour. They’ve revealed plans to return to the countries this summer.
The Tumbling Paddies will kick-off their next batch of gigs in England and Scotland on Friday, June 13, when they take centre stage at the O2 Academy in Liverpool for a sold-out performance.
As well as performing at some major festivals, the six-man band will also lead performances in Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Dundee and Glasgow, to the delight of their huge following.
Lead singer with the band, Gareth Maguire, has praised the support they receive from their fans.
“There’s a great young crowd that come to our shows,” the Derrylin singer explained.
“When you see the young people out, going mad for a dance, they don’t want to be listening to sad, slow, songs, so we keep it lit and drive them on. That’s the aim of a gig, keep things lively.”
