After trailing by four points at half time, Teemore produced a storming second half display to swing this fiercely competitive derby clash in their favour.

The Shamrocks’ defence restricted the Brian Boru’s in the second half and they only managed to land a two-pointer before their goal on the stroke of full time.

The turnaround was all the more remarkable given the even nature of opening half exchanges with a Dara Cathcart goal, midway through, the real difference between the teams.

In idyllic playing conditions, the game, brought forward to a 7pm start saw Kinawley get off to a flying start.
