Fermanagh singer Garrity confirms new single

ENNISKILLEN singer John Garrity said it was “great to be back in the studio” after he confirmed he’s working on producing a new single, as he continues to take the local music scene by storm.

The ‘Belfast Busker’ has established himself as one of the top stars in the country and he continues to earn a growing following through his performances on the streets across the island.

Garrity, who has released eight singles through leading streaming service ‘Spotify’, confirmed that he’s been working alongside one of Ireland’s top producers on the release of a new song.

“It’s great to be back in the studio along with Jonathan Owens,” the Enniskillen singer said.

“Jonathan’s an extremely talented producer and an all round good guy, with some good banter.

“I’m excited for my new single to come out,” added Garrity.

The local singer-songwriter has been earning some rave reviews for his impressive performances and songs, which included his cover of ‘The Lady of Knock’, days after the death of Pope Francis.

“I was reduced to tears as I walked through the streets of Belfast and looked over to see the man himself [John Garrity starting to sing this amazing hymn,” a resident posted on social media.

Garrity, who has been working alongside Liverpool Football Club star Robbie Fowler, is set to stop off at the Ardhowen Theatre later this summer as part of ‘The Ultimate Shindig’ roadshow.

A large crowd is expected to turn out to the Enniskillen venue on Saturday, August 30, for the show which will also take centre stage in Omagh, Cookstown, Armagh and Derry.

The Ardhowen Theatre is looking forward to welcoming Garrity to the local venue.

“’The Ultimate Shindig’ is guaranteed to have you hand clapping, singing and partying all night long as you take a rip-roaring trip through the decades of much-loved iconic songs and music.”
