Enniskillen teenager charged with abduction and rape

A MAN currently accused of abducting a vulnerable girl within the care system has appeared in court accused of multiple offences arising from an alleged sexual attack on a male after kidnapping him.
Alioune Sow (19) was repeatedly bailed to reside at the Clinton Centre in Enniskillen despite objections by police.
He is charged with raping a male after kidnapping and falsely imprisoning him with the intention to commit sexual offences.
It is further alleged he maliciously wounded and inflicted grievous bodily harm on the male, while in possession of a knife.
Finally, Sow is charged with damaging a door in the Clinton Centre.
A detective constable told Omagh Magistrates Court all charges could be connected and confirmed bail relating to the child abduction case was breached.
Defence counsel advised there was no application for bail as: “A return to the Clinton Centre is obviously no longer an option.”
District Judge Peter Magill remanded Sow in custody to appear by video-link at Enniskillen Magistrates Court on 19 May.
Previously, a detective explained Sow was served with a Child Abduction Warning Notice in September 2024 over his relationship with the girl who went missing overnight from her care facility.
