Campbell eyes long-awaited silverware for hungry Kesh

It’s been 23 years since Kesh lifted their last piece of silverware — but player-manager Ryan Campbell says Friday night offers his side a golden chance to put that “voodoo” to bed.

“We’re knocking on the door again,” says Campbell, who has watched from the sidelines since a serious knee injury in March ended his season prematurely.

“It’s been too long since a trophy’s been at Kesh so hopefully, we can get that over the line now. I think 2002 was the last time they won a trophy so it’d be a massive boost for the club going forward if they can get that voodoo off their back.”
