THE Tumbling Paddies are committed to keeping “things lively” after they confirmed they’ll be returning to the INEC Gleneagle Arena in Killarney where they’ll perform to almost 1,000 people.
The six-man band recently confirmed they’ll be headlining a major concert at one of the biggest venues in Ireland when they take centre stage at the Kerry location on Sunday, December 21.
A huge crowd packed into the INEC Gleneagle Arena last year and The Tumbling Paddies will now be returning later this year, as their glittering career continues to go from strength to strength.
Lead singer with the band, Gareth Maguire, is pleased with their success on stage to date.
“There’s a great young crowd that come to our shows,” the singer said.
“When you see the young people out, going for a mad dance, they don’t want to be listening to sad, slow, songs, so we keep it lit and drive them on. That’s the aim of a gig, keep things lively.”
Fresh off the back of their tour of Australia, The Tumbling Paddies has released their dates for April and May which will see them headline at some of the country’s top venues.
On Friday (April 18), The Tumbling Paddies are scheduled to perform in Donegal when they take centre stage at The Social Live in Gaoith Dobhair, to the delight of their ever-growing fan base.
The band will then headline at St Nathy Hall in Ballaghadereen in Roscommon on Saturday (April 19), before concluding the weekend with a gig at the Abbey Hotel in Donegal Town on Sunday.
The Tumbling Paddies will be kicking off their many festival appearances next month.
On May 3, the group will be one of the main performers at the Inniskeen Festival in Monaghan.
They’re also scheduled to perform at the hugely popular and much-anticipated ‘Cowboys and Heroes’ festival which is scheduled to take place in Leitrim on Saturday, May 31.
