Dancers show off moves at Shamrocks Strictly Roslea

Roslea Shamrocks held a hugely successful Strictly Shamrocks dance night in the Slieve Russell Hotel on Saturday evening with almost 900 supporters and friends in attendance.
The Shamrock club’s fundraiser was to assist the huge development which have been undertaken around the club grounds at Shamrock Park with a fully floodlit walking trail and the floodlit football pitch.
Twelve couple took part in the thoroughly entertaining dancing competition which enthralled the large crowd throughout the evening.
Top dancers and champions on the evening were Ciara Boyle and her partner Conor Gallagher who thrilled the audience with the quick feet and graceful movement.
Second place went to Noel ‘Buster’ Boyle and his partner Teresa McMahon while Conor Mohan and Ellie McMahon picked up third spot. Fourth was Shane McMahon and Mary Rooney.
Club Chairman Kevin Boyle said the fundraising initiative would make a huge contribution to meeting the cost of the new developments at Shamrock Park and thanked all the supporters for their contributions on and off the field for their contributions and financial support.
He paid particular tribute to the dancers who had worked so hard under the stewardship of choreographers Audrey and Anna.
“Their commitment and dedication to putting this together has been a credit to themselves and their families and we as a club are hugely indebted to them and proud of their association with Roslea,” he said.
