Monkey Blue Press
Monkey Blue Press was established in 2017 by author Laura Quinn while on maternity leave. To date she has created, developed and produced 16 children book titles and is now in the process of penning an adult’s novel. Laura’s objective for the business is to build a reputable, well-known brand for her business and grow it worldwide. The Fermanagh author’s popular books can now be found on the shelves of many well-known stores.
The Food Bowl by Be Prepped
The Food Bowl by Be Prepped was born in October 2017 when husband and wife duo Claire & Ruairi McGuinness began offering convenient healthy food for lunch and dinner in pre-prepped meal form, delivered in bulk. One year later the team moved the meal prep business from their home to premises in Enniskillen and opened a healthy café ‘The Food Bowl’ to complement the business model. Seven staff are now employed by the business.
TMC Health & Fitness
Based on the Cornagrade Road, TMC Health and Fitness say they offer a gym with no judgement, just encouragement. Terri McCanny opened the gym in March 2018 and has since then grown the membership to over 220. The gym employs six people and has a busy personal training portfolio. It is the aim of TMC to create a welcoming environment and positively impact as many people as possible through health and fitness.
Enniskillen Taste Experience
Enniskillen Taste Experience invites visitors to join a local food trail around the island town of Enniskillen. It was launched by Blakes of the Hollow manager Mark Edwards in March 2019. The 3.5 hour culinary experience showcases food and drink provided by local suppliers and producers. At present tours run on a Saturday while corporate tours can be provided on other days. To date visitors from near and far have travelled to experience Fermanagh’s local cuisine.
