Man taken to hospital after fall

A man has been taken to hospital after an incident on the Derrygonnelly Road.

It is believed the man was working on a building site, and fell from scaffolding around 9.30am this morning (Friday). Emergency services attended the scene, and he has been transferred to South West Acute Hospital.

A spokesman for the NIAS confirmed the incident saying, ‘The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 09.25 on Friday 17 May 2019 relating to an incident at Derrygonnelly Road, Enniskillen. NIAS despatched one Emergency crew to the scene. Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one patient was transferred to the South West Acute Hospital, Enniskillen.’
