Young friends’ night ends in horror

COMMUNITIES across Fermanagh and south Donegal are still struggling to come to terms with the horrific accident on Sunday which claimed the lives of two young people and left three others seriously ill in hospital.

The funeral of Shiva Devine, who had made her home with her young family in Belleek, took place in Ballintra yesterday morning.

The funeral of Conall McAleer, a popular student from Boa Island, will take place today in Ederney. The son of Brian and Jacqueline,  and brother of Niamh, Tara, Sadhbh and Torai, Conall will be laid to rest at Edenclaw cemetery following funeral Mass at St Joseph’s Church at 12 midday. Donations in lieu if so desired to Macmillan c/o Claude McKervey Funeral Director.

Another passenger, Rachel Elliott, is critically ill in hospital in Dublin. Rachel’s family have asked people to pray and light candles for her recovery.
