A MOTHER of three children has been given a six month probation order after stealing a number of house hold items from Tesco.
Around 2.45pm on December 7th 2016, PSNI arrived at Tesco, Enniskillen after it was reported that Justyna Placzkowska of Lissan Road, Enniskillen, had left the store with goods that she had not paid for.
Police arrived at the store and spoke to security staff, and Placzkowska was seen on CCTV stealing goods to the value of £17.99.
On Monday, at Enniskillen Magistrates Court, Defence barrister Ciaran Roddy said ‘the goods were everyday house hold items, with only £5 of the items not fit for resale.’ He also added that the defendant did not go into the store with the intention of stealing.
District Judge Nigel Broderick explained that she cannot continue to commit offences, and that she has three children who relay on her care and they ‘must be a priority.’
Judge Broderick sentenced Placzkowska to a six month probation order, warning her to comply with all instructions of probation services.
