Country sensation Jake all set for Enniskillen solo gig

Jake Carter, County music’s newest sensation has just released his brand new single ‘Wild and Free’ – and the video, which was shot in Enniskillen and Kesh.
The Liverpool native, who has recently moved to Enniskillen will play his first gig here, in Pat’s Bar tonight (Friday, June 30th).
18 year old Jake, who is Nathan Carter’s younger brother, has developed his own blend of country,  pop and rock and has plans to release an EP before the summer is out. The singer, song writer co-wrote his new single, ‘Wild & Free’ with Belfast  based songwriter Caitriona Carville.
Speaking to the Herald, Jake said: “The new single has got a great reaction so far, and it’s been played on some commercial radio stations, so it is great to get it out there, and get my foot in the door. 
The fans have been loving it too! The video was shot around the Killyhevlin Hotel in Enniskillen and Muckross Bay in Kesh. 
“There is loads of scenes filmed on the Lough Erne with us out on jet skis, and boats,” he added. 
Jake, who is originally from Liverpool made his debut TV appearance on The Late Late Show in March 2017, where he performed his debut single ‘Trouble.’ Jake is set to join the huge line up of stars performing at Harvest 2017 in Enniskillen at the end of August. 
While his brother Nathan, is one of Country music’s biggest stars, Jake’s genre of music is a bit different.
“I am still into country music, but I like more pop and rock with a bit of a steel guitar in there. It is still country, but more modern and commercial. I am releasing an EP at the end of the summer with all original material, that I have wrote myself, so hopefully that goes well! It is very exciting.”
