A 21- year- old man is due in Omagh Magristrate Court this morning charged with the attempted murder of a baby.
Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding how the baby, believed to aged around six months old, sustained serious injuries at Castlecoole Road, Enniskillen on the night of Saturday May 6th.
The baby was admitted to hospital shortly after 9pm, and their condition is described as critical but stable.
Detectives have examined a flat in the Castlecoole Road area of the town as part of the investigation.
