Enniskillen PSNI Station RMGFH07

Police in Enniskillen are investigating a report of criminal damage that was caused to a wire fence in the Arney area.

Officers say the wire was deliberately cut around the area of The Swanlinbar Road at The Five Points. The incident is believed to have occurred some time during the early hours of yesterday morning (Thursday).

A PSNI spokesman said: “This resulted in cattle walking out onto the main Swanlinbar Road and only for the actions of passing motorists, could easily have resulted in a road traffic collision.”

Police are asking that anyone with any information, or who noticed suspicious activity in the area at that time, to contact them on the non-emergency number ‘101’ and quote reference number ‘CC2016080500295’.
Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously by calling 0800 555 111.
