Edel Monaghan
Enniskillen Running Club athletes Oisin Cassidy and Edel Monaghan have been selected for the NI Schools teams to compete in the London Mini Marathon this Sunday, 24th April.
Cassidy, who is a year 9 student at St Michael’s College, has been picked for the minor boys’ team after a strong cross country season with his school.
Monaghan, representing her school Mount Lourdes, is on the senior girls’ team.
This is her fifth successive year to have been selected and she has been honoured with the captaincy of the NI girls’ team.
It is set to be a great experience for the youngsters as they run the three mile route around the sites of central London before finishing on The Mall in front of Buckingham Palace.
