Police are appealing for information following the report of a major burglary at the grounds of the Lough Erne Resort in the Lough Shore Road area of Enniskillen.

Sometime between 5pm on Tuesday June 30 and 5.40am on Wednesday, July 1 a shed in the grounds of the hotel was broken into and a number of items were stolen.

The following items have been reported missing:

Strimmer x 5 – Make: Stihl/Echo/Tanaka
Back pack blower x5 – Make: Echo/Tanaka
Hedge trimmer x2 – Make: Tanaka
Flymo x 2 – Make: Toro
Rotary mowers x2 – Make: Mountfield
Ryan turf cutter – Make: Ryan
Bunker edger
Power Washer – Make: Honda PD Pro
Chainsaw x 2 – Make: Stihl – Model – 251/271
Electric drill – Make: Clarks
Cordless drill – Make: Dremill
Cement mixer
Toro 1000 mower – Make:Toro – Model – Greensmaster 1000
Knapsack sprayer x2 – Make: Cooper pegler
Jacobsen back lapping machine
Sprinkler Heads – Make: Eagle
Hand tools – spanners/sockets/wrenches/axes/sledges/pick/spades/chainsaw equipment/boots/trousers/gloves/helmet
Steel toe capped boots – Make:Red Back
Petrol – 160 litres
Diesel – approx 1500 litres
Mechanics tool box including tools – Make: Snap On

Inspector Roy Robinson said: “I would appeal to anyone who has any information about this incident to contact Police at Enniskillen. Police would also like to speak with the driver of a Ford Transit van, Registration Number 08 MN 11210, as they may be able to assist with our enquiries. Police in Enniskillen can be contacted on the non-emergency number 101.

“Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
