Emmett Friars who is on loan to Ballinamallard Utd.
Ballinamallard United have signed top rated, no nonsense defender Emmett Friars on loan from Crusaders.
Friars is recovering from a knee operation and will be on loan to the Ferney Park club until January.
Friars began his career at Notts County, but has also played for Derry City, Dungannon Swifts and Portadown.
“I’m delighted with this bit of business. I was always concerned about our situation in the centre of defence. Leon is coming back and hopefully he can stand up to the riggors of the Premier League.
“It’s fortunate that this no nonesense defender has become available. He won a Premier League winners medal with Crusaders last season and will bring much experience and know-how to our team
“It’s a brilliant signing for us,” said manager Whitey Anderson.
