Football game called off because of COWS on the pitch

Cows and Calves

AN U15 game between Enniskillen Athletic and Strathroy Harps was postponed last week because there were COWS on the pitch.

The game was due to take place in Omagh on Wednesday – but it was called-off as officials were unable to have the animals re-mooved.

The Brendan Keogh Youth League game will be rearranged for a later date.

A club note read from Enniskillen Athletic read: “Our u15s (2000s) league match was also called off, but in considerably more bizarre circumstances last Wednesday evening; with cows on the pitch causing the postponement, leaving a few ‘peaks’ and troughs in the process! The match will be replayed at a later date.”
