Just one change as Fermanagh prepare to face Armagh

Ryan McCluskey returns to the starting 15 for the trip to the Athletic Grounds.

Ryan McCluskey returns to the starting 15 for the trip to the Athletic Grounds.

Pete McGrath has made just one change to his side as he prepares for the clash of the NFL division three table toppers in the Athletic Grounds this Saturday.

Tempo’s Damian Kelly will make way for Ryan McCluskey at number six. Kelly had been a late replacement for McCluskey against Tipperary, the Enniskillen Gaels man reportedly under the weather.

The selection also marks a vote of confidence for Tiarnán Daly, Thomas Treacy and Tomás Corrigan who were all drafted in against the Premier county men, all seizing their opportunity to impress.

This is the fourth start in an unbroken NFL run for Ruairí Corrigan, Eoin Donnelly, Ryan Jones, Declan McCusker, Paul McCusker, Barry Mulrone, Marty O’Brien and Sean Quigley.

Meanwhile Kieran McGeeney has shown his faith in the players who started in the comprehensive win against Limerick last week, with the same personnel and a couple of positional switches.

Niall Geoghegan starts in goal and the full back line sees Mark McConville dropping back to line up alongside his clubmate Charlie Vernon and Cullyhanna’s Mickey Murray. Mark Shields returns to the half back line, alongside Finnian Moriarty and Andy Mallon. Aaron Findon starts at midfield, alongside Peter Carragher who was brought in as a late replacement  before the start of the Limerick game.
