GREASE

Enniskillen Light Operatic presents the final few performances in their hugely popular run of the musical ‘Grease’. This night of 50’s fun and frolics is sure to have you dancing in the aisles to familiar tunes like ‘Summer Lovin’, ‘Greased Lightning’ and ‘You’re The One That I Want!’. Evening performances at 8pm take place from Wednesday 10th to Saturday 13th December. Call the Box Office for last minute resales.

ANDREA BEGLEY

Ardhowen is delighted to welcome Andrea Begley to the stage on Wednesday 17th December at 8pm. With an inspiring attitude and self belief Andrea Begley has overcome every obstacle life has thrown at her. This young, visually impaired, Pomeroy woman with the angelic voice, defied the odds to win the top BBC talent show, the Voice UK, in 2013 with Danny O’Donaghue of The Script acting as her mentor.

Andrea will be performing tracks from her first album ‘The Message’ which reached No. 7 in the UK charts last year as well as some of the Irish traditional music that has influenced her as a singer from a young age. With her aunt being Country legend Philomena Begley, Andrea comes from a strong musical heritage and has never allowed her serious sight problems to get in the way of making her dreams come true.

SWING, SWING, SWING CHRISTMAS

Bob Quick and The Big Brass Swing Band return to Ardhowen Theatre following their recent Flive sell out concert with some Christmas Swing on Thursday 18th December at 8pm. Bigger and better, the 24 piece band (18 brass, 2 vocalist and full rhythm section) will walk you through a Winter Wonderland of seasonal delights. Performing favourites such as ‘Santa Baby’, ‘Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow’, ‘Roast Some Chestnuts On An Open Fire’ and ‘White Christmas’, vocalists Gerada McCann and Gareth Devine will be backed by the fabulous Big Brass Swing Band and their Musical Director Bob Quick.

FLASH HARRY

Relive The Magic of Queen on Friday 19th December at 8pm when Flash Harry returns to the Ardhowen for one night only. When it comes to a night of rock defining entertainment, there is no better tribute than ‘Flash Harry’.

Queen formed in 1971 and their music has rocked the world across every continent since then. For those not acquainted with the likeable and genuine Flash Harry guys, they have been known for re-creating the legendary rock music of Queen for more than 20 years.

They have constantly raised the bar in taking their show to new and more challenging heights year after year, to a point where they can safely say that they are the most successful and adventurous Queen tribute act around.

Founded by long time school friends, Harry Hamilton on vocals and John (Click) Cleland on Bass, they have been playing rock music since the mid 1980’s and the band is today much transformed from its modest beginnings in Lurgan. Their break came in 1992 when Harry and Click decided to pay homage to the then recent passing of Freddie Mercury by performing, for one night only, a set of Queen songs and crowd went wild.

The future of Flash Harry was cemented when, on the first anniversary of Freddie’s death, the guys performed at the Ulster Hall in Belfast; and the rest, as they say, is history. So come and party to classic tracks including ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, ‘I Want To Break Free’, ‘A Kind Of Magic’ and ‘Radio Ga Ga’ – a guaranteed good night out!
