An exhibition celebrating the role North Fermanagh played in the Great War is to be held in the Young Farmers Hall in Kesh next week.

‘North Fermanagh Remembers’ is a commemoration for the 41 men from North Fermanagh and Pettigo who lost their lives during the Great War and ties in with the 100th anniversary of the start of the conflict.

Organiser David Keys explained that information banners and medals will be on display and family members will be able to learn more about the role their relatives played in the war.

The exhibition is being held in the Young Farmers Hall, opposite the police station in Kesh and everyone is welcome to come and learn more about local history from World War One.
