Bushwhakery comedy club returns

THIS Friday night sees the return of  Bushwhackery Comedy Club to The Bush Bar.

Each month six of the best rising names on the Irish and UK comedy scenes will be bringing the laughter and mayhem to Fermanagh.

Friday Night’s (August 1) show will be MC’d by Derry comedian Peter E Davidson,

The headline act is Lorcan McGrane.

Lorcan’s one man show ‘Geekdom’ has appeared in the Belfast Fringe 2010, The Black Box, Belfast, the Norwich Fringe 2011, and 10 Days in Dublin Festival 2012.

His second one-man show ‘Blank Inside’ debuted at the 2013 Belly Laughs Belfast festival.

He performs regularly throughout the UK and Ireland. Lorcan has supported such artists as Ardal O’Hanlon, Colin Murphy, Kevin Eldon, Bec Hill, Jarred Christmas and Kevin McAleer.

He has appeared on Today FM, BBC Ulster, BBC Radio 4, Newstalk, Phantom FM, and the Comedy Corner of Dublin City FM.

The line-up for Thursday night’s hilarity is completed with: Margo Carr (Dublin) has performed comedy throughout Ireland for a number of years. She loves to improvise and have a laugh with the audience. She has appeared on TV in Find Me The Funny (BBC) and also on How Low Can You Go (RTE).

Ivory Cutlery (Glasgow) “weird and surreal as a haddock with a hammer”.

Fintan Harvey (Claudy) “tall tales from a very tall man”.

Danny McCrossan (Derry) has run comedy clubs for six years, has books of his own comedy sketches for sale on Amazon and has toured Ireland with both his live panel show and his varying comedy act.

There is a 40% discount on the admission charge for people producing a meal receipt for The Bush Bar will receive a 40% admission discount.

Admission is £5/£4 and Doors open 9.45p.m.
