A total of 6 Enniskillen Lakelanders will be making the long journey to Limerick while only one club swimmer will be going to Dublin.

The youngest club member to qualify is 9 year old Ellie McCartney. Ellie only started swimming competitively last year after 2 years in the club and has recently won Gold medals at Sligo Gala and the Bangor Long Course Championships – where she attained her two qualifying times in 100m and 200m Breaststroke.

She will be competing in the 10 and under categories and is hoping to achieve a top 10 finish in the 200m race and to also gain much experience for the same category next year.

Oisin McManus (11) has only recently joined the Lakelanders after moving from England.

The confident swimmer also competed well in Sligo reaching the podium twice with a Gold and a Bronze Medal. In Bangor Oisin surpassed the qualifying time for the 200m Breaststroke and has also chose to compete in the 200m Backstroke & 400m Freestyle in which he hopes to get a medal.

The AquaSprints joint team captain, Caitlin Love (12), is also participating after qualifying for the 100m Backstroke, 200m Backcrawl and the 200m Individual Medley in which she hope to demonstrate her ability to compete in all strokes.

Caitlin hopes to make the final in at least one of the events and she is also a member of the Medley Relay team competing at the Irish Age Groups.

She qualifies for Limerick with Division 2 times in 100m & 200m Breaststroke and hope to gain experience and personal best times. Sorcha has also entered the 400m Freestyle as an extra event and is swimming the Breaststroke leg of the Medley Relay.

Caitlin Martin has been swimming for just over 3 years and is another 12 year old swimmer attending the IAG as part of the Lakelanders contingent.

She will be competing in the 200m Backcrawl as well as swimming the first leg of the Medley Relay – Backstroke. Caitlin has also entered the 200m Breaststroke and is hoping for a personal best. Her aim is to swim the 200m Backcrawl in less than 3 minutes.

Twin, Molly Flynn (13), has been a member of the Lakelanders since she was 8 years old and has qualified for the 100m breaststroke and is also swimming the Freestyle leg of the Medley Relay.

Molly plays football for Tempo and Fermanagh U14 teams and is hoping for a personal best in her event.

In the Division 1 Irish Age Groups, 15 year old Natasha Love will be the sole representative for the Enniskillen Lakelanders. She will compete in the 100m & 200m Backstroke and Breaststroke as well as the 200m Individual Medley.
