OH HAPPY DAY…Members of Blurred Lines Dwayne ‘Krum’ Maguire and Roisin Burns in the middle of recording the video footage for their cover of Pharrell Williams’ ‘Happy’ along with members of Rossory Church choir

MUSIC fans may be familiar with American singer, Pharrell Williams’, hit song ‘Happy’, and its video, featuring fans dancing and singing along to the track.

And, one local band have recreated that video, but with a Fermanagh twist.

Blurred Lines, featuring musicians from Enniskillen, may have been spotted around the county filming its people and scenery as part of the video – and they have finished recording their version of the song.

The band features Roisin Burns on vocals and keyboards, Dwayne ‘Krum’ Maguire on vocals and guitar, Daniel O’Toole on bass, and Lisa Howe on drums.

“Happy was a happy accident. We had decided that the next video we were going to do would have lots of people dancing in it – people who weren’t just us. We were listening out for the right song for weeks, when we heard Happy, then watched the video, we knew it was perfect,” drummer Lisa told the Fermanagh Herald.
