TONIGHT, Wednesday, January 8, a book will be launched at SEFF, Lisnaskea in acknowledgement of the conclusion of a Peace III cross-border project.
The Book; ‘Faith got us through’ is a culmination of the experiences of SEFF and Cavan Interfaith Forum participants over the years and moreover captures the content of relationships between participants who over a year long period have embarked on a journey of getting to know one another’s histories, beliefs and values. The Project was aptly known as; my neighbour, the stranger.’
On Wednesday night there will be circa 30-40 people present across both groups for the book launch
The book launch takes place between 7pm and 7.30pm and will then be followed by a cultural/educational workshop exploring the Great War on this the centenary year.
A speaker(s) will advise of the Fermanagh influence within the war effort.
