AN INJURY-TIME goal from Warrenpoint Town substitute Padraig Smith spelled despair for Ballinamallard today (Wednesday).
The game finished 3-2 at Ferney Park on New Year’s Day.
A header from Davy Kee put Ballinamallard in front early in the second-half, but it was cancelled out by a long-range goal from Daniel Hughes moments later.
Stephen Hughes point Warrenpoint in front before Mark Stafford equalised, heading in after a corner.
The second-half remained goalless until the dying moments when a Padraig Smith goal gave Warrenpoint the spoils.
See Wednesday’s Fermanagh Herald (January 8) for full coverage and reaction.
