Two men named following road tragedy

A road traffic collision has claimed the lives of two men this evening (Sunday).

Two men, aged 18 and 22 died following the one vehicle RTC on at 4.20pm on the Pettigo Road, Kesh.

The men have been named locally as John Irwin (22), who lived between Newtownstewart and Drumquin, and 18-year-old Sean Martin from Pettigo.

Police are appealing for witnesses.

Sinn Fein MLA, Phil Flanagan, said on Twitter: “Devastating news that two young men have lost their lives on Fermanagh’s roads today. Life is incredibly fragile. Take care out there.”
