The Arts Council has lent a series of twelve artworks from their collection for the exhibition which features work from artists such as Tracey Emin, (famed for her contribution of ‘that bed’ to the sensations exhibition at the V&A in the late 1990’s) and acclaimed Northern Ireland artist Gail Ritchie.

Waterways Ireland’s, Head of Marketing & Communications, Éanna Rowe said “Waterways Ireland is pleased to host this exciting exhibition of contemporary art at its headquarters in Enniskillen and the range and quality of the exhibits from the Arts Council’s collection is suberb.

“We know that the recent TV coverage of the G8 summit will have encouraged visitors to come and see for themselves the beautiful lakelands of Fermanagh and this exhibition gives another good reason to visit the county and our welcoming waterways”.
