The crash happened on the A4 Dublin Road early Tuesday morning

A 26-year-old male cyclist has died following a collision with an ambulance in Enniskillen

The crash happened on the A4 Dublin Road at about 1.15am  on Tuesday (today).

Although unconfirmed it is locally believed the deceased was a foreign national.

Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them.

The A4 Dublin Road remains closed to traffic between the Killyhevlin Hotel and Wickham Place. Motorists are advised to take alternative routes.
